23rd |November

On Saturday 23rd of November West Cumbria branch of CAMRA will be presenting the Autumn Pub of the Season award to The Snecklifter, Duke Street, Whitehaven.

Members are advised to arrive ahead of the presentation, which will be no sooner than 1 o'clock in the afternoon. These will likely include Billy McGrady's, The Candlestick, The Tavern and The Puncheon.

As public transport has good availability on a Saturday afternoon, no branch transport will be provided. This will also give members the flexibility to call in to as many, or few, pubs as they would like, or even visit any pubs that have not been listed above

On Saturday May 18th there will be a branch trip visiting a number of pubs.  We will start at about 12.30 at The Kirkstile Inn, spending about an hour and presenting the West Cumbria Pub of the Year Runner-Up certificate.
